2026 Heart & Soul Award Winners

Congratulations, Farm Girl Finds, on receiving this year’s Heart & Soul Gala Award. We are grateful to have you as a cherished part of the Caritas family.

From repainting used furniture to having served on the Board of Directors, Lisa Maurer has been sharing her time, money, and talent with Human Support Services since 2022. As the founder and owner of Farm Girl Finds boutique in Waterloo, IL, Lisa and her team Sandy and Mary have spent many hours teaching HSS clients how to give old furniture a fresh, new life, with the proceeds going back to the agency.

Thanks to everyone’s generous support we exceeded our goal and raised nearly $280,000! These funds will help us continue to further our mission and make a tremendous impact on the well-being of individuals, children, and families all across Southern Illinois.
