Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 13th annual Heart & Soul Gala, a special celebration dedicated to creating healthy relationships, loving homes and stronger communities.

We had an amazing time sharing the tremendous impact Caritas has had on our neighbors and community over the past year. With your generous support again this year, we can provide the services that help families, children, adults and seniors receive the care and refuge they need to live fulfilled lives.

Staying true to the theme of this year’s gala, we will continue to honor our clients who courageously move forward and the staff who walk beside them. Together they create moments of transformation that ripple across families and communities.

As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to making thoughtful decisions that best support our mission and the individuals and families we serve. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to move forward with this year’s Shine Your Light Gala.

As we continue building on the legacy of HSS and strengthening our presence in Monroe County, we are focusing on new ways to connect with and celebrate our supporters. Our commitment to this community and our mission remains strong, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to a Donor Appreciation and Open House event this fall.

We can’t wait to share the tremendous impact Caritas has had on our neighbors and community over the past year. With your support we can provide the services that help families, children, adults and seniors receive the care and refuge they need to live fulfilled lives.

We’d like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Heart & Soul Gala a resounding success!

Thanks to everyone’s generous support we exceeded our goal and raised nearly $280,000! These funds will help us continue to further our mission and make a tremendous impact on the well-being of individuals, children, and families all across Southern Illinois.

We couldn’t have done it without our donors, sponsors, board, gala committee, staff and countless others.
